So Random

  • My new favorite shoe store is Shoe Carnival. Have you been there? I love it because they have size 11's for those of us that have gargantuan feet. They have reasonable prices. AND they make you feel like you are at a carnival complete with a podium where a not so creepy guy announces their great deals. If you spend enough, you can spin the wheel of discounts. That's my kind of store.
  • I appreciate that all the coupon clippers save tons of money clipping coupons and get free stuff (like glucometers when they aren't even diabetic). HOWEVER, I don't like getting stuck in line behind you at the grocery store. Do you really need 86 boxes of Kleenex? We get it, you got it for free. I think you need your own "special" line, because you are holding me up. (Now don't go yelling at me for having an opinion. I just call it like I see it. I'm happy you can save 800 bucks a month, but do you really need 38 boxes of chicken broth just because it was a penny?) Go ahead, yell at me. I can take you. For the record, I tried it for a day and got confused, so until they come up with a book called "coupon clipping for dummies" I'm sticking to my every 2 week Costco run.
  • I am trying to avoid Christmas. It stresses me out. Let's just skip it this year.
  • I'm upset that I didn't get to see P!nk in concert. She is now off to the UK leaving me behind.

  • The 14 stitches I have on my back from my mole removal are really bugging me. (constant rubbing by my bra...sorry, is that TMI?) I need to just be grateful it's not on the side of my face. I'm really glad that they got it all out and it didn't progress to something worse.
  • I saw "This is It." I need to download some MJ music. We no longer own a tape player, so therefore my 3 tapes I have in basement are obsolete. I remembered that my favorites are: Billie Jean, Wanna Be Starting Something and Beat It. As freakish and weird and eccentric and goofy looking as he was, Michael Jackson was a musical genius.
  • I am liking the cooler weather for ONLY one thing...the clothing. I like that I can wear a blazer and it can cover up my muffin top.
  • That makes me hungry for a muffin.
  • When I went to vote yesterday, the little old ladies at the polling station kept going on about my hair. They loved it. Which makes me think, do I have old lady hair?
  • My friend Michelle, Primary Pianist Partner in Crime and Salt City candle hook up keeps yelling at me to vote for her kid to win some contest. Well, I only have one computer, so I'm turning to you guys to help her out. Her darling daughter Cambrielle wants to win tickets to Disney on Ice. SO, could you click here and vote for her? She is #172. How can you resist those blue eyes:
That's all I've got.
The end.

I have size 10 feet. It's very comforting to me that others have big feet too.

shoe carnival? never heard of it-
this is why we blog- we learn how to better spend our money---i think feet grow bigger these days than years ago.
i've had times when i wasn't diggin' the whole christmas thing...this year, i think i'm okay with it.
loved -this is it- billy jean features his best foot work, wouldn't ya say?
your hair is not old lady- it was probably just refreshing for the little olds to see something styled and clean, and put together...that's my guess.

I'm trying to find somebody to go see This Is It with me. Wanna go?

I like the cooler weather we're having because that means I can wear long pants and not sweat when I wear a tank top under my shirt.

Mmmm....muffins....

Those little old ladies probably just wonder if they could pull of your 'do' and look as good doing it.

Hey you admitted it....You like the cooler weather. Amen to the cover up, maybe now people won't ask if I'm pregnant :)

You spoke about creepy guys. Check out www.randomcreepyguy.com! Submit your photos :) Also here's a bonus tip for your holiday shopping - go to savings.com. Get coupon codes for your favorite stores - never pay full price. Take care!

I love random, because I am pretty random myself.

Anonymous #1. I know who you are, and you will never get me to love the cold as much as you do. And you don't look pregnant.

Anonymous #2. Thanks for the tips...on both accounts. I am not opposed to coupons. Of course I love saving money. I just get annoyed when I have to be behind the person with the 83,000 coupons and price matches when I just want to buy my peanut M&M's.

Totally a coupon user. Is that a deal breaker?

And yes, the Shoe Carnival is Mommy's new happy place

For forgoing Christmas...I think you got a good start today. : )

I feel no need for a glucometer, and may I just point out that nothing is FREE?! If you get your coupons from a paper, you pay for those coupons, people.

There is a Shoe Carnival across the street from my work...sounds dangerous. Maybe I should wait until you visit again to go in for the first time.
Also, we have an H and M here...plus, one of my employees works at the new True Religion and gets 75% off...are you convinced yet that it's time for another visit...just tell Elton he went hunting on your birthday, so you deserve a little AZ time.

I always enjoy reading your random comments! I will have to check out shoe carnival for I too have larger than normal feet! I have a friend who gets about 250 dollars of groceries a week for under 30 bucks, I am not joking. She tried to teach me but time is money and I think I have ADD so it really did not work for me, but it does make me a bit jealous!

LOVE the Shoe Carnival. LOVE IT. Something about spinning that wheel.

Coupon clippers irk me.

I am sad about P!nk too. :(

I vote for skipping Christmas. I think I'd rather go somewhere tropical.

Our shoe carnival just closed, can you believe it? DSW has always been more popular here. I like them both for different reasons.

I would love to see Pink, I am hoping she does a Vegas appearance in January!

My mom does not like Shoe Carnival. I begged her to go to the one in Jordan Landing to look at school shoes. She took me and I found the most perfect shoes, but they were $40 and I didn't get them.
I also love fall weather because of orange clothes and orange leaves and orange pumpkins and orange food made from pumpkins.

She is a cutie I voted cause I'm cool like that. And I wear a 7...sometimes I think all the bitches wear 7 here in Ohio cause I can't always find my size. Stupid same size feet people. Jon wears a 13 and he can't find shoes a lot of the time here either. So we don't wear shoes here in Ohio. LOL! Don't get me started on Elly. So you know the movies Lord of the Ring and the hobbits don't wear shoes cause and they have like fur on their tooties...that's us. LOL!!!!!!!!!! I've had too much coffee today and the wine is kicking in. And I'm totally kidding I wear shoes cause my feet are damn ugly.

I almost cried the last time I went to Shoe Carnival. We bought4 pairs of shoes, yes 4, and not one pair was for me. The Steve Madden heels I was drooling over were all out in my size.

I am so scared to go back. rejection like that is hard!

The weather this week has been perfect! Can we keep it all winter long? Don't forget the boots! I Love to wear boots in the fall...I may have to pick up some new ones, and check out the carnival store!
